President's Message

                         Peace, out.

Times flies!  It seems like only yesterday that I was writing my installation speech, yet here I am writing my last President Message.

At the beginning of my Presidency, I had set some goals, they were as follows: To get the Mobile App up and running, set the Newsletter up so that it is integrated with the website, build our online Document Library and to grow more Clubs/Interest Groups.  All of these goals have been accomplished along with a Photo Album Library, thanks to the efforts and talents of the Board and members who were willing to step up and take charge.

There are many thanks to be said but the list is too long to mention everyone by name here. Please know that I appreciate everything that everyone has done this year.  I have been blessed to have had a supportive Board and Standing Committee Chairs who joined me in their passion for their work and the success of NFC.   I am grateful to the Interest Group Chairs as their groups are the life of NFC.  Finally, to all members, thank you, for where would we be without you?

The Presidential Legacy I hope to leave behind is: That I recognized the many talents of the women in this club and that each had her own unique gifts to offer. I encouraged the use of those talents.  I believed that the involvement of new members in leadership positions was a way for the club to continue to grow and move forward.  My motto has always been: Many hands make light work. Together we can do it!

Wishing NFC much success in the future.  I will end my last message with the first words of my first message.  Hold onto your hats, ladies, we are in for a ride!  And, what a ride it has been!
