Happy Earth Day!! Did you know the theme for 2024 Earth Day is “Planet vs Plastics”? Me either…it is never a bad idea to think about caring for our Mother Earth. I feel we are helping in our own way by collecting shoes for Soles 4 Soles by keeping our throw out shoes from ending up in a dump but instead on peoples feet who need them. https://soles4souls.org/
Soles 4 Souls: Our collections is coming to an end April 30th, If you still have shoes to donate, please get them to Lisa Byrne or Trish McGinn asap. These ladies have worked very hard at collecting, separating and packing all of our shoes. The winner of most shoes donated will be at the May Monthly Luncheon. Any guesses on who that may be?
Passover: Happy Passover for those of you who will begin this celebration tonight.
Monthly Luncheon: Our election of the 2024-2025 board will take place at the Monthly Luncheon this week. If you are attending please be informed so you know who you will be voting for. The slate of officers from the nominating committee and announced at our March Monthly Luncheon is as follows:
