Slate of Officers for the Board of Directors
2023-2024
At our Member Luncheon today, Susan Brandenburg, the chair for the nominating committee, announced the slate for the Board of Directors for our upcoming year 2023-2024.
Following the guidelines in our Constitution and Bylaws, Article VIII-Election of Officers, the Nominating Committee is pleased to present the following slate of candidates:
President: Lora Castello
Vice President of Membership: Laurel Chivari
Vice President of Luncheons: Libby Joyce
Diane McCartney
Secretary: Marjorie Volt
Treasurer: Kris Pacillo
Newsletter Editor: Dee Drobonick
Our By-laws state in Article VIII, Section 3:
”Elected Officers to the board may serve on the Board for a maximum of three (3) consecutive years...
In the event that it is necessary for a member to serve in any office beyond the three (3) term limit in order to have all positions filled, the Board shall present the recommendation at the next General membership meeting for approval by vote”.
Diane McCartney, Libby Joyce and Dee Drobonick are the members who were added to the slate of officers but have served three (3) years on the board. A vote was presented to the membership and passed for them to be accepted to the slate of officers that will be voted on for office at our April luncheon.
