Message From the acting Interim President

Mickey Key, VP of Membership

As many of our members may have heard, there will be some changes to our Board of Directors. 

Karen Bearss feels she has a different vision from that of our current Elected and Standing Board. In the interest of the membership, she has therefore tendered her resignation as President.  There will be a formal vote at the August 1st Board meeting to accept Karen's resignation.  Karen will continue to be an active member and hopes that all members will continue to enjoy all the activities and events the Club has to offer. 

This places a bit more responsibility on me, as I will be acting as Interim President, in addition to my role as the VP of Membership. In the interest of getting our monthly newsletter out to the membership in a timely manner, we want to make you aware of these changes.  We, as a united board, believe it is very important to always be transparent with our members and will strive to keep you updated on all club business.

Meanwhile, I am happy to say the website is back on track, things are moving forward and we will continue sharing information for all club functions.

Webmaster Missy McLaughlin and I will be preparing the 2019-2020 paper directory as soon as we have received all the renewals and the updated Bylaws are ready for inclusion in the new directory.
