We had our board meeting last Thursday and we went over quite a few things. This morning's message is long but please read to the end because all the information is important.
- Mentor Program - We would like to start a Mentor Program to provide information, guidance and assistance to new members. As you know when new members join many of them don't know a single person and would like to have someone they can meet, talk with to get details, have someone to sit with at our luncheons for the first few months, etc. Please contact me if you would like to be a mentor for one or more new members. My contact info is at the bottom of this page.
- Ladies Night Out - Murder Mystery, October 14, 5:30 p.m. - If you are registered to attend this event, please check your emails for information about your character and a short script to read at the event. Any questions, contact LNO co-chair, Mare Walker.
- October 22 luncheon at Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, Ballantyne - Our speaker will be Tina McLemore, Founder and Director of the Blessing Cart. Please note there is free parking at the OMB parking lot but you will need to scan a QR code located at or near your parking space. Please make sure you do this. A sample of the QR code will be in next week's Monday Message so you will know what to look for.
Sunday, November 29, 2 p.m. - NarroWay Productions "The Real Christmas Story". Registration opens Wednesday, October 21, 9 a.m.
Tuesday, December 15, 11:30 a.m. - Pine Lake Country Club - Our holiday monthly luncheon - please note this is a different date than our normal monthly luncheons. Registration opens Wednesday, October 21, 9 a.m.
- Blessing Cart collections continue:
Besides the items listed below from Amazon and Walmart we are also collecting small travel/sample sizes of shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc. of personal hygiene items.
