A musical re-enacting the true story of 7,000 stranded airline passengers and the small town of Gander, Netherland that welcomed them after U.S. airspace closed September 11, 2001. - Crafty Adventures - Caravaggio and Baroque masterpieces exhibit with Docent Tour: Mint Museum Uptown at Levine Center for the Arts, September 30, 11 a.m., $19 at the door. See more details on the NFC calendar. Registration is NOW OPEN.

- 10:30 a.m. Board Meeting (note later time for this meeting only)
- 12:15 p.m. Welcome Coffee (immediately after board meeting)
Elected board members, Standing Committee Chairs and Interest Chairs are encouraged to attend both board and coffee meetings. Please register asap on the calendar to attend. The Welcome Coffee is for our new and prospective members. The invite for our new members is for any member who has joined within the last six months or so and would like to know more about our club. If you know anyone who may be interested in our club, please invite them to this Coffee and let Kris Pacilio know so she can register them. We encourage as many interest chairs as possible to give a quick summary of their events during the Coffee. This info will also be in the newsletter under Kris P's VP article coming out later this month.
- A few weeks ago I pointed out there was an error in my previous Monday Message and offered a small prize to the first person who could correctly tell me what the error was. I was checking to see who reads these messages. LOL! Our previous president, Jeanne Deiger, was our one and only responder! Thank you Jeanne. You won a pair of squirrel pilgram salt & pepper shakers for your holiday table!

- Karen Olshansky, previous member, is caring for her grandchildren and daughter while the daughter is struggling with a serious medical condition. If you would like to send her a card or assist with a meal you can contact Karen at 6012 Lydney Circle, Waxhaw, NC 28173. She has not rejoined this year due to her current family responsibilities.
If you know of any members who are sick, had surgery, had a death in the family, needs uplifting, etc., please let me know so we can reach out to our NFC friends.
