What a gorgeous day it is. Make sure and take advantage of this beautiful weather we are having. Put your tennis shoes on and go for a walk.
- Board Meeting/Welcome Coffee - All Interest Chairs are reminded of the board meeting/welcome coffee on Thursday at the Southpark Regional Library. Board meeting begins at 9:30 am and welcome coffee at 11:15. Please register on the website if you plan to attend.
- Event Registration Cancellations - Please, Please check your calendars before registering for events or, if you realize you can't attend after you have registered, please cancel so others may be notified from the waitlist and have a chance to register.
- Event Registrations with a Guest - Please be aware when you are bringing a guest to any event you must register both yourself and your guest. The bottom left hand corner of the registration page will have Active member (0) please enter 1. The next line should say Guest (non-member) (0) please enter 1. By selecting 1 member and 1 guest, the system will prompt you for your guests information also. If you do not register your guest when you originally register yourself you cannot modify your reservation at this time. Please contact Susan Brandenburg or Lori Herzhauser for assistance in adding a guest to your registration. Most events have a cutoff for capacity so only those registered should attend. - September Luncheon - Registration is open for the Speedway Club luncheon on September 25th. Don't miss the chance to dine with a view of the track at Charlotte Motor Speedway and listen to our own Kip Randolph for our program. Carpooling will be available from Waverly. - October 22nd - Mark your calendars for a "Walking tour of Historic Waxhaw", lunch and shopping. Watch for more information in the October newsletter.
- Birthdays - Be sure to add your birthday to your profile if it isn't already there. We will include your name in our newsletter and if you are registered for the luncheon you will be recognized and receive a small gift.
