Good Morning New Friends,
- You can now see your Status on the Wait list - This option is now available on a desktop, laptop, or your phone. Click the profile tab, which is right under your login name in the top right hand corner. Once you are looking at your profile, go to the Histories tab and then select event history. Toggle all the way to the bottom of the history and you will see Wait List Status and a number. If you are on more than one wait list you will have multiple entries.
- If you are Using your Phone and you are automatically logged in, you may need select to the Your Info radio button on the bottom right hand corner of your phone. This will take you to a menu where you will select edit profile settings. Scroll down until you see histories and select event history. Just as on a laptop, scroll to the bottom and you will see wait list and status of any events you have added yourself to the wait list. If you have any questions or need assistance please contact Lori Herzhauser, Susan Brandenburg, or myself for assistance.
- Have your planned your picnic yet? We do not have a luncheon in July, so please gather your friends old and new and have a good old fashioned picnic. Send your photos, especially your picnic baskets to Mare Walker via email. I will choose a few winners who may receive something for their next picnic.
- Members - I am happy to report we have 144 members which is right on target. We ended with year 184 members. Each I year we historically have 20% who do not renew for various reasons. This year we had several ladies relocate, a few unfortunate passings and others that are no longer able to stay active in the club. As we begin to welcome new members, please introduce yourself and make them feel welcome as your New Friends.
- Care and Concern - Please keep Karen Bearss, Louise Carter, and Sandy Cherrybone in your thoughts as they continue to recover.
- Honey - If you remember the wonderful presentation by the Bee keepers in March, several of you asked if you could purchase honey. If anyone is still interested, please contact Lorna Jacobs @jacobs792@aol.com.
- Book Lovers change of location for July 16th - Book Lovers will meet at the home of Carol McPhee, 2024 Fitzhugh Lane, Weddington, NC 28104.
