President's Message

Pauliine

Hello Ladies,

It's hard to believe that Christmas is just around the corner.  Christmas means different things to each of us.  It is a time of giving to those less fortunate. The Upper Cervical Center has partnered with New Friends and Bright Blessings to provide gifts for children in need.  There were 140 angels put on a Christmas tree at Dr. Drury’s office.  When I was there on Monday, there were only about ten gifts still waiting to be filled.  Dr. Drury’s patients have been wonderful at giving gifts for this great organization.

Unfortunately, not much is going on for the month of January.  We had problems getting a location for our Monthly Luncheon; hence there will not be one in January.  This was a unanimous Board decision.

It has been a sad year with several of our members passing away.  Our most recent was Alice Russell, who was  a long standing member of New Friends.

I want to wish each of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  Roll on 2021.  I am pretty certain that most of us want to put 2020 behind us.
