For the month of February, we will continue to collect new books for children Kg - 5th grade in the CMS schools. Many of these underprivileged children have never owned a book of their own. You can provide this for them. Stories abound about the influence of books on young children: a desire to be a football player, a dancer, an astronaut, a doctor or inventor. Reading takes us out of our normal routine world into a world we can only imagine. Please be the instrument by which these kids can imagine a life beyond poverty.
You may want to give a book that a young member of your family enjoyed or choose from the list below. No religious themed books please. Books can be dropped off anytime at the following locations and if ordered from Amazon, can be delivered to Marie or Diane's homes.
