President's Message

Pauline Trautman

I like the Fall season, not only do we have wonderful color in the tree’s but also beautiful Carolina Blue Skies. I also came with really cool mornings and evenings.

On October 6th, Moira Yeager, Libby Joyce, Diane McCartney and myself,  went to Bright Blessing and presented them with a check for $500.  This was a result of the money we collected from the sale of the Face Masks.  They were overwhelmed with our generous gift.

Our lunches have been well attended considering COVID 19.  We had 28 ladies last month who enjoyed our wonderful speaker Dr. Ray Drury. I believe that 13 ladies signed up to visit with him.  I was one of them, so far having been very impressed.  Dr. Drury is a Chiropractor who specializes in Upper Cervical Care.

At the Board meeting we discussed opening up another Bunco Group as well as another Contract Rummy Group.  These are popular events that fill up very quickly.

Remember, if you are out an about to invite ladies to attend out group and share in the fun times we experience.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and friends.

It has been wonderful to see some of you again!  There are groups that are beginning to meet and some still waiting.  Keep an eye on the newsletter and the calendar to watch for your favorite activities.  We have two new members this month. Please welcome Victoria Ramazotto and Chris Ferguson.  If you see them at an event make sure you say hello.

If you are out and about and meet new ladies be sure to invite them to give us a look.  New Friends of Carolina is a great place to make new and lasting friends.
