Dear Book Lovers Members,

 

The location of the March 20th meeting has been changed to the home of Cher Erickson at 4105 Sharon Commons Lane, Charlotte, NC 28210. WE ARE IN NEED OF A BOOK DISCUSSION LEADER FOR THIS MEETING. The March book is Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng. Please contact me if you are interested in leading the discussion.

 

The Book Selection Committee, which will pick the titles for 2019-2020, will form in February. Three members have come forward thus far to serve. Two more members are needed. Please contact me if you are interested. The new book list will be presented in April.

 

If you have read a book that would be appropriate for the Book Lovers to consider, please forward your recommendations to me.  Keep in mind that our selection criteria include: availability in paperback, be a book of 500 pages or less, narrative has discussable themes, the book has positive reviews from reputable sources that indicate the title has literary value and evidence of fine writing.

 

Thank you for your willingness to step in when needed. Once more, we have a need!
