Welcome to New Friends of Carolina. 

Our organization was founded in 1989 by a group of women looking for companionship, local information and activities.  New Friends is a women's social group open to women in the surrounding Charlotte Area.  Many women in the group are relatively new to the area and from different parts of the Country or are entering a new stage in life and are looking for something new and exciting to do.  It is our hope that members will establish lasting friendships as they become acclimated to their new community or new stage of life. 

We offer a variety of activities and functions throughout each month.  Luncheons are held in various locations around the Charlotte area, thus members get a flavor for many different venues.  Other programs include guest speakers, fashion shows, visits to museums, historical sites and more.  Whatever you might be looking to do, you can do it with New Friends!
